This blankey is truly a must have! The softness is indescribable, it is so soft and smooth! My son absolutely loves it! I plan on purchasing another one because I am not sure how long the Navy color will last. If for some freak accident we lose the one he is attached to right now, I want to make sure I have a back up one. He goes to sleep so much better now that he has this blanket because of the thickness and softness. My son is almost six months and had difficulty going to sleep because he it fights it so much. A couple of my friends suggested I find a blanket with a satin/silk trim to help him go to sleep, specifically Little Giraffe. Well I tried a couple others first before spending this much money, unfortunately I could have bought the prefect one before spending all my money on others that don't compare to the Little Giraffe Luxe! It is truly very soft and the thickness makes my son think he is still holding on to my shirt when I lay him down in his crib. However, I do go back in and take the blankey out once I know he is sound a sleep. When searching for this blankey I originally was trying to find the slate color, however, once I talked to the extremely nice customer service representative I decided to go with the Navy and she was right, I would really like the color. I LOVE the color because it bring out my son's eyes.
