When fully opened and extended lengthwise, the book measures 8 1/2" tall by 47" long. it's 8 1/2" tall by about 6" wide when folded closed. the nursery verse book has 8 panels, each page has an interactive feature reflective of the text. nab activity books can be folded accordion style (as they are shipped) for compact storage and easy travel. the soft book has attached loops on the back which are tied together by a satin ribbon to keep it folded. in addition to the ribbon tie, a velcro tab on front secures the pages closed when not in use. the great thing about nab activity books is that they can also be used as a nursery decor item/crib bumper toy too.
