Roebuck Studio approaches furniture design with a focus on modern design aesthetics using traditional construction techniques. Barret Roebuck, owner and founder, took a landscaping architecture degree from Purdue University and in time used his creative imagination to design beautiful, functional, durable and affordable children‘s furniture in an environmentally responsible way. Joined by his wife Kate the Roebuck team designs unique, colorful and eco-friendly kid‘s furniture including shelves, coat racks, rocking chairs, bowls, bookends and storage boxes. Roebuck Studio firmly believes in sustainable materials which is why they choose birch plywood, traditional shellac and water based interior paints to produce the most eco-friendly and child-safe furniture possible. The Roebuck team also strives to reuse as much scrap material as possible to avoid waste and also buys from local dealers to support the Michigan and United States economy. Overseeing every aspect of the furniture making process gives Roebuck Studio complete control over the products and materials used so you know the furniture you‘re buying is safe, stylish and durable.
